the thing

This was a thought exercise in identifying and expressing visual brand language. Nike is one of those companies that has such a strong brand that it feels intimidating at first to try to replicate (/ imitate) their feel. Given the internet of things, I was surprised to find that Nike doesn't make headphones - and so I tried to fill that gap with 2 concepts, but only after defining the brand's defining characteristics, moodboarding, and researching a competitive landscape. Half of the work of this project was trying to accurately re-draw the "swoosh."
